MEDDN Meeting Minutes Date / Time: 5/24/11 1p-3p Location: Port Resources, South Portland Attendance: Sandra J Amoroso, Regina Chaisson, Ali Dame, Judi Harle, Halley Koehler, Dee Marshall, Bunny Mansir, Cyndi Ranco, Wayne King, Betsy Rush, Doris Babbidge, Ham Robbins, Jane Gagnier Welcome: • Introduction of members . Secretary’s Report: • Minutes reviewed and accepted.
Treasurer’s Report: • Treasury report reviewed and accepted. Old Business: • Members stated the drug take back day went well. No date planned as of yet for the next day. • Anne Pistell called Ham to apologies for missing our last meeting. She will inform us of any new information when it is available. • Ham and Wayne reported back for the DDNA conference that was held in Connecticut. The “New England” hospitality room was well received by DDNA. MEDDN banner was created, brought to the conference and hung in the hospitality room. The next DDNA conference will be held in Orlando. • Betsy Rush is retiring from her company and her position as Vice President of MEDDN as of June 2011. Doris Babbage has been nominated and would like the position. Any other nominations should be submitted to Ham. Voting will occur next meeting in June. New Business: • CRMA study groups prior to test. New proposal for instructors discussed and Ham will email Todd to make suggestion. • Autism education opportunity. Members would like to put together education for nurses in Maine. A group was assembled and will discuss opportunity.
